Orange County Faculty Member Wins Telly Awards

Cameron Barrett, an instructor at The Art Institute of California—Orange County, a campus of Argosy University, recently won Telly Awards for work completed with his production company, R/com Studios.

The awards included:

  • 2016 Bronze Award: RT130 - Brushfire Training 2015 Online Video - Video - Training This was a series of training films made for the Los Angeles Fire Department to teach all 3,000 members survival skills when battling wildfires. Cameron wrote and directed the series.

  • 2016 Bronze Award: RT130 - Brushfire Training 2015 Online Video - Video - Videography / Cinematography.

  • 2016 Bronze Award: RT130 Brushfire Training 2015 Online Video - Video - Editing

  • 2016 Bronze Award: LAFD Recruitment PSA Online Video - Video – Recruitment - This Public Service Announcement, which Cameron wrote and directed, was produced for the LAFD to help them recruit new members & reached tens of thousands of people via their website and Facebook page.

  • 2016 Bronze Award: LAFD Recruitment PSA Online Video - Video – Editing
