Fernando Del Rosario, design adjunct faculty, The Art Institute of California—Orange County, a campus of Argosy University, has seen his comic book-inspired collection, “Real Heroes,” shown in multiple locations.
The collection debuted at the school’s AUSSI Gallery in 2016 before moving to sites including the Mission Viejo, California public library. Recently, his work was on display for two months at the historic Malaga Cove Library and Art Gallery in Palos Verdes, California. The opening reception featured a workshop where attendees could create their own comic book art piece. The library provided the canvases and comic books, while Del Rosario shared his passion and creativity.
