“Think Pink” Culinary Event Raises $1300; Students to Present Check to Susan G. Komen Chicago

Culinary students from The Illinois Institute of Art—Chicago raised $1,300 for breast cancer research by holding a fundraiser at the school’s student run restaurant. The event was organized and arranged by the students in the Introduction to Hospitality Management and Art Culinaire classes. The classes are led by instructors Sabre Tyler and Michael Howe.
In addition to creating a fundraising dining experience, the students solicited local businesses and alums for raffle items. The students will present a check to Susan G. Komen Chicago in October 2016.
