Veterans’ Club Donates Candy To Miami Rescue Mission

By: The Art Institutes

November 10, 2016

Miami International University of Art & Design's Veterans’ Club recently organized, collected, and dropped off bags of candy at the Miami Rescue Mission. The candy will be given to at-risk youth and children who live in the shelter during a “Fall Harvest” celebration.

The candy drive is part of the Veteran's Club continued commitment to giving back to the community. The club organizes various fundraisers or community service events that rally our students together. It’s lead by student Tim Clay and Cordero Fruster, who are both working toward a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production from Miami International University of Art & Design.
