Culinary Team Wins “Most Unique Mac” at “Mac N’ Brews & Comfort Food” Competition

A team from The Art Institute of Michigan recently competed in the “Mac N’ Brews & Comfort Food” challenge at The Royal Oak Farmer’s Market in Michigan. The team won the “Most Unique Mac” award. The winning dish, Tikka Masala Mac, was paired with pulled tandoori chicken, tamarind chutney, house-made paneer, crumbled naan, and cilantro.
The team was made up of instructors Chef David Koshizawa and Chef Adam Gardner, and students James Engelmann, Muffazal Miah, Micah Matheny, Kal Arnold, Leonett McKay, James Jouppi, and Sequoia Barney. All of the students are working toward an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Michigan.
