The Art Institute of Atlanta—Decatur Fashion Faculty Member in Atlanta Journal Constitution

Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds, academic director, Fashion Retail & Management and Fashion Design Departments, The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, is featured in a May 25, 2016 article in The Atlanta Journal Constitution. In the article, he praises fashion designer, Ann Moore, for starting her own fashion house during a time when it was particularly hard for African Americans to get financing for a new business venture. Ann Moore’s designs are currently on display at the Atlanta History Center.
