The Art Institute of Washington Partners with United Way’s PAWS for Art
June 27, 2016
The Art Institute of Washington, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, recently partnered with the United Way - National Capital Area’s online giving event called, “Do More 24.”
The partnership allowed the school to participate in “PAWS for Art” on June 3, 2016. At “Paws for Art,” owners and their dogs were invited to a full day of fun in the sun mixed with art and education. The Washington Humane Society and the Washington Animal Rescue League were also on site to help participants learn about both pet adoption and arts organizations.
The Art Institute of Washington hosted the arts vendor table at the event. As the only higher education participant at “PAWS for Art,” the school was invited to attend the United Way’s “Do More 24” Emerging Leader Society reception, held at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC.
