(Denver, September 2015)  Margaret Sanzo, a fashion student at The Art Institute of Colorado in the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design program, showcased her collection “Chesapeake” at the 8th annual Baltimore Fashion Week August 11-16, 2015. The inspiration for Chesapeake came from the Chesapeake Bay. The 10-piece collection included palazzo pants, midriff tops, and dresses. Names were given to each of the pieces in her collection that referred to the area such as: Blue Heron, Chessie, Delmarva, and York. The color palette included purple, lavender, Kelly green, Navy blue and pale blue. Her collection from Baltimore Fashion Week can be viewed online at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6-nOGsUpco.

During Baltimore Fashion Week, Margaret had the privilege to receive feedback from seasoned designers and industry VIPs. Pieces from her collection were sold to individuals, as well as orders were taken from boutiques in the Baltimore area and in Connecticut.
