Instructor’s Works Part of Surgical Illustration Exhibit

Works by The Art Institute of Colorado instructor Charles Wes Price are currently on display at The Center for Bioethics and Humanities on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus as part of the exhibit “The Cutting Edge: Contemporary Surgical Illustration.” The exhibit feature works by 13 illustrators that include pictures intended for textbooks or medical equipment brochures. Price has over 19 years professional experience in illustration and animation with a track record of producing extraordinary results for more than 20 national and community-based organizations, along with expertise in anatomy and physiology illustrations for magazine, textbook and animated teaching modules. He was awarded a Master of Science degree in Medical Illustration by the Medical College of Georgia, one of only four accredited graduate programs of its kind across North America. He received his Certification in Medical Illustration in 2011 and is one of approximately 250 Certified Medical Illustrators in the world.
