Students, an instructor, and a staff member from The Art Institute of Washington, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, were recently invited to The White House to attend the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Soldier Ride®.

Forty wounded warriors were recognized and took to their bikes for a Wounded Warrior Ride around the White House grounds. The school’s SVA (Student Veterans of America) members were honored to be a part of the event.

President Obama thanked the warriors for their service to our country and encouraged the civilian community to welcome them back and assist with their readjustments.
