The Art Institute of Washington, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, GA, received a call earlier this year that they needed a student photographer for a magazine campaign.

Officialist Magazine hired Digital Photography student Marcus Boyd Sr. to shoot Bravo TV’s popular show The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant for its cover story. The winter issue of Officialist Magazine focuses on women empowerment with the title issue: "The Wonder Woman."

Boyd, who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Digital Photography, spent an entire day on set with Ms. Bryant getting behind-the-scenes footage as well as working to capture the best photo for the cover.

Officialist Magazine is available online in digital and print edition.
