Culinaire Restaurant is the student-run restaurant at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Washington. Located just across the river from Washington, DC, Culinaire Restaurant provides our culinary students with real-world experience and instructional content—and provides diners with a unique culinary experience.
Under the supervision of Chef Leo Dilling and an experienced and credentialed faculty* of chef instructors, students create bistro-style dishes in the kitchen and run all aspects of the dining room. From food ordering and preparation to guest seating and serving, Culinaire Restaurant is a complete instructional environment for students that offers a quality dining experience to its patrons.
Culinaire Restaurant is open to the public and is located at 1820 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, VA, 22209. We will be serving lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30am until 1pm, April 11 through June 9. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Reservations can be made by calling: (703) 247-3841 or stopping by the restaurant during normal business hours.
Our seasonal menu features the flavors of spring, including crab soup, spiced shrimp and local wild caught Chesapeake Bay Rockfish plus many other offerings.
