Sous Chef at Little Coco's Restaurant

Brice Crackel is a sous chef at Little Coco’s restaurant in Washington, D.C. He says that his days consist of coming into the restaurant, working hard to get through the rush of patrons, then cleaning up and preparing for the next day.

Brice is proud to have contributed new menu items to the restaurant’s Italian cuisine offerings. He says that he gives work all that he has—and asserts that a culinary career requires determination.

Brice, who in 2012 earned an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Washington, says that his education provided the foundation he needed to begin his first restaurant job. He recommends that current students stay focused on building their culinary knowledge. “Always be willing to grow and try new things.”
