Atlanta Students and Staff Decorate Callanwolde Mansion

Every year, Atlanta’s Callanwolde Fine Art Center selects designers for its Christmas Designer Showcase. This year, students and staff from The Art Institute of Atlanta were selected to decorate the center’s Studio A. This is the first time that students have been chosen to design a room at the Tudor Revival style mansion.
Decorating Callanwolde has been a tradition for 40 years—it’s known as Atlanta’s Designer Show House and Christmas Destination. The Callanwolde mansion was built in 1920 as the home of Charles Howard Candler, the eldest son of The Coca-Cola Company founder Asa Candler. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
