By: Anne Dean

August 17, 2016

On Monday, August 29, 2016, Chef Richard Ingraham will hold cooking classes and a private dining experience at The Art Institute of Atlanta. Chef Ingraham graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 1998 with an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts. He’s a private chef with clients including a professional basketball player—and he prepares meals for journalists and national corporations including Wal-Mart.

Chef Ingraham will lead a lecture discussing his career as a personal chef. He’ll also discuss trends in nutrition, tips for working with celebrities, and how chefs can grow their business. Chef Ingraham will serve as a guest instructor for the day. Current culinary students are required to obtain permission from their instructor and The Art Institute of Atlanta’s Culinary Academic Director, Chef James Paul, to attend the class.

Chef Ingraham will also award a culinary student from The Art Institute of Atlanta with a $1,000 scholarship. Student candidates will be nominated by Chef James Paul, will complete an application, and the winner will be selected by Chef Ingraham.
