The Art Institute of Atlanta Graduates Fund Game on Kickstarter

(Atlanta, October 2015) Three graduates from The Art Institute of Atlanta raised money via a Kickstarter campaign to fund their game SnarfQuest Tales. The game is a project of Cellbloc Studios, founded by The Art Institute of Atlanta graduate, James Simpson.
James Simpson, founder and president of Cellbloc Studios assembled a team of professional video game designers and programmers and began developing a game in the point-and-click system popularized by such classics as King's Quest.
The graduates who worked on the game are as follows:
• James Simpson, a 2008 graduate, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Art and Design
• Jonathan Thomas, a 2011 graduate, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Art and Design
• Brandylin Packer, a 2011 graduate, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Art and Design
SnarfQuest Tales is a point-and-click video game starring Snarf, the famous creation of Dungeons and Dragons' illustrator Larry Elmore. Game enthusiasts can participate in the adventures of Zeetvah, and his pals, including the armored warrior wizard Aveeare and the barbarian babe Telerie Windyarm, as they join forces to defeat the evil time-traveling Suthaze.
SnarfQuest Tales will consist of 5 separate episodes, each following Snarf on a new quest as part of his larger storyline. Each episode will be released individually, a new episode debuting every three months. SnarfQuest Tales is designed for fans of all ages.
