The Art Institute of Atlanta Participates in the 8th Annual AIGA ATL Student Pin-Up Show

The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) - Atlanta Chapter held their 8th annual Student Pin-Up Show on Saturday, April 8th at Matchstic Studio, The Jane at Grant Park, and the Elevator Factory. This event was created in 2009 by Graphic & Web Design faculty member Sue Youngblood to promote competitiveness and a sense of Atlanta's creative community for all area design schools.

Patrick Barron, Illustration (BFA) student, won the Daniel Flores' Judge's Award, one of twelve awards given at the event. Yana Hudson and Nadia Rahman, Graphic and Web Design (BFA) students, showcased their pieces and were chosen to accompany the Pin-Up Show winners for an August 2017 exhibit to be held at the Binders Ponce City Market Gallery.
Faculty in attendance included John King, Erin Freeman, and Will Moritz. Ai Atlanta event volunteers were Nadia Rahman, Scott Youngblood (event videographer), and Sue Youngblood (event advisor).
