The Art Institute of Atlanta Partners with Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities
December 12, 2017
The Art Institute of Atlanta is EXCITED to partner with the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC). Since 1979, ARMHC has served nearly 50,000 families with ill and injured children who are currently receiving critical medical care at nearby healthcare facilities. As on-going efforts are made to give back to the community, Ai Atlanta has kicked-off the partnership in two ways—serving lunch to ARMHC families and hosting a holiday gift donation drive where children from the Ronald McDonald House can select a donated gift to give to their family members.
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, campus leaders served a holiday-themed lunch at the ARMHC in Sandy Springs. President Myvett, Executive Committee Members, and Campus Relations joyously interacted with family members who stopped by. “I am humbled to have participated in the luncheon,” stated Vivian Lett, Director of Campus Relations. “Having the opportunity to engage in the community and partnering with a wonderful organization like the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House is one of many things that make me proud of being a part of The Art Institute of Atlanta.”
Donated items for ARHMC will be delivered next Thursday, December 14th by President Myvett, Executive Committee Members, and Campus Relations. A sincere ‘thank you’ is extended to the campus community for their continuous support of giving back and making a difference in a child’s life.
Additional engagement activities and partnership efforts with ARHMC are in the works for 2018. More information to come!

About the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities:
Since 1979 our Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses have served more than 48,000 families with ill and injured children receiving medical care nearby. Our Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. We believe that when a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed. But our services do more than keep families close during a child’s medical crisis.
