Art Institute of Atlanta Graduate Hosts Show on the Food Network

Let's Eat is a new daytime series starting on Sunday, August 12 at 9am ET/PT with co-hosts Jamika Pessoa, a 2004 graduate of the Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts program at The Art Institute of Atlanta, Brandi Milloy, and Stuart O’Keeffe. The co-hosts will discuss "flavorful dishes, to popular restaurant trends, and to the latest food fads captivating social media." They will also be joined by special culinary guests, as well as experts from Food Network Kitchen, as they explore everything that is current in the culinary world, and share tips, tricks, and mouthwatering recipes to make your time in the kitchen a breeze.
“With Jamika, Stuart and Brandi at the helm, Let’s Eat celebrates all the
hottest food crazes in an entertaining and educational half-hour of
non-stop fun,” said Courtney White, general manager and executive vice
president, programming, Food Network and HGTV. “Their innovative cooking
hacks will help viewers recreate that wow factor to stun family and friends
in their own homes.”
Food is front and center in each of the half-hour episodes, and every dish
is unapologetically delicious. From Blue Cheese Aged Ribeye Steaks to Crab
Stuffed Hushpuppies, Jamika brings her bold flavors and sassy style to the
forefront every episode.
Jamika Pessoa is a chef and caterer to the stars, known for bold twists on traditional dishes, especially those of her Southern and Caribbean heritages. Audiences first met Jamika on Food Network Star season 5 where they came to know and love her innovative style, relatable personality, and inspiring tenacity in the kitchen. Although she did not win the competition, her unwavering determination to become a noted chef and TV personality brought her thru an illustrious career. She has been featured as the field correspondent on the CHEW, judge on Cooking Channel’s Donut Showdown, Chef Host of Home Made Simple on TLC and comedic food contributor on Unique Sweets. Jamika is also a recurring judge on Food Network’s series Ultimate Summer Cook-Off.
Jamika’s incredible journey from corporate to the kitchen to television had
made her a role model and motivational speaker to many, particularly
aspiring chefs and women in business.
