August 5, 2016
Students Tim Collins and Jillian Kibler, who premiered their film at The Cannes Film Festival, recently appeared on Atlanta’s CW show “Focus Atlanta.” Their short film, Kiss of Death was accepted in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.
Jillian and Tim are pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production at The Art Institute of Atlanta. Their film debuted at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, May 11-22, 2016.
In addition to discussing their film, Kibler and Collins promoted an upcoming film festival that will take place Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at The Art Institute of Atlanta. The festival will celebrate Collins and Kibler’s work and give the public an opportunity to view their film. Kibler and Collins will also present a self-documentary that captures every moment of their journey to Cannes. Other students and alumni will participate in a media panel discussion. The festival starts at 5pm.
