Grad Gillespie Nominated for James Beard Foundation Award

Chef Kevin Gillespie, who in 2003 earned an Associate in Arts in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Atlanta, was recently nominated in the “Best Chef, Southwest” category for the James Beard Foundation Awards. The awards recognize culinary professionals for excellence and achievement in their fields.

Gillespie is the executive chef at the Atlanta restaurant Gunshow. He’s also authored the cookbooks "Pure Pork Awesomeness: Totally Cookable Recipes from Around the World" and "Fire in My Belly: Real Cooking."
