March 8, 2016
The Art Institute of Atlanta held its first Atlanta Influencer Meetup on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Hosted by campus president Newton Myvett and the school’s Career Services department, the meetup brought together Atlanta industry professionals in the areas of film, fashion, culinary, and more.
The event began with a networking reception in the Janet S. Day Gallery. Shortly after, President Myvett and the Career Services department led a tour throughout the campus. The event ended with a three-course lunch at Creations Restaurant at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Atlanta. The meal was prepared by students in the school’s culinary programs.
The Atlanta Influencer Meetup allowed industry professionals to talk with school leadership about future internships and job opportunities.
