Students Participate in Charleston Fashion Week

Students from The Art Institute of Atlanta and The Art Institute of Charleston, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, recently participated in Charleston, SC, Fashion Week. The city’s fashion week took place from March 15-19, 2016.
The designers from The Art Institute of Charleston, all of whom are working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, are:
- Chinara Alston
- Elizabeth Ward
- Jeanne Everett
- Hope Candieas
- Kat Dwight
- Justin Barfield
The designers from The Art Institute of Atlanta, who are working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing & Management, are:
- Karimah Ali
- Zuri Zandar
In addition to the students’ collection premiers, The Art Institute of Charleston welcomed fashion icon Fern Mallis to the school for a talk. Ms. Mallis is the creator of New York Fashion Week and is an influential member of the worldwide fashion community.
