The Art Institute of Atlanta welcomes Singer/Songwriter/Entrepreneur/Producer Samiyyah Dixon to share her experiences and advice with students who aspire to build their career in the music industry. Dixon's list of clients include Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, and Kim Burrell. This event is open to ALL students who want to pursue their career in the music entertainment industry.

Learn the art of preparing great food to combat diabetes.

The Art Institute of Atlanta has partnered with the Men’s Health & Wellness Group to host a 4-hour health & wellness open house to include: 

• Diabetes-friendly cooking demonstrations
• Passed samples of dishes prepared by The International Culinary School’s Chef Maurietta Amos
• Access to Atlanta Endocrinologist, Thomas Flood, M.D.
• Demos and information from wellness and fitness/exercise providers

Additional community partners of this event include Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, The American Diabetes Association, and Garrett Communications. This event is open to the public. Anyone interested in taking control of their health is welcome to attend.
