Donald and Jennifer Hill (Culinary and Fashion Design respectively, students at The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, recently led an initiative to collect clothing for homeless veterans. The couple are veterans themselves, and they started the initiative to show appreciation to their fellow veterans.

When the clothing drive concluded on November 19, 2016 there were approximately 325 articles of clothing. Donald and Jennifer sorted the garments by size and gender, boxed, labeled, and delivered to the Homeless Veterans Support Group located at the Austin Veterans Medical Center

Donald is working toward an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts, and Jennifer is working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design.
