Fashion Instructor Featured in Record-Journal Newspaper

(Austin, September 2015) Michelle Washington from The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston was interviewed by Farrah Duffany at the Record-Journal newspaper. The article, “5 Things you need to know about women’s fall fashion” featured comments from Ms. Washington that includes visuals and ran in print as well as online.
Ms. Washington talks about the new trends for Fall that include earthy, warm tones, especially cranberry and merlot colors. This season’s color is “Marsala, which Ms. Washington says, “It’s a really rich, winey, red-brown…it’s robust, it’s warm,” she said. “It goes well with any accent pairing for the fall.”
