IIDA's 3rd Annual Revolution Redesign Challenge
September 10, 2015
(Austin, September 2015) The Interior Design department at The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston is partnering with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) for the 3rd Annual Revolution Redesign Challenge. Revolution Redesign is a showcase of interior design talent, featuring room vignettes created by Austin’s top commercial interior design and architecture firms that go to local families in need. Each team designs for a selected family and the room created is later installed in the family’s home. The final showcase is October 8.
This year, The Art Institute of Austin students were invited to participate alongside Texas State and University of Texas students. Each student volunteer is partnered with a firm’s team and involved in the design process and execution. Out of the 13 or 14 student volunteers, 9 are from The Art Institute of Austin.
