Art Institute of Austin Partners with Valrhona Chocolate to Launch New Chocolate Formula

The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, recently hosted a chocolate demo featuring Valrhona chocolate. Valrhona is an artisan chocolate manufacturing company in France. For over 30 years, it has been used by renowned chefs and pastry chefs.
Valrhona held the chef-driven demo to launch their newest chocolate formula, Azelia. Azelia is a 36% milk chocolate with hazelnuts. Derek Poirier, North American Corporate Pastry Chef for Valrhona, demonstrated five recipes and offered tastings for each.
W hotel, Uchi, the Four Seasons and several other notable establishments in the central Texas region attended the event.
