What was the inspiration for your artwork?
The goal was to create a monster out of a typeface. I saw this as my first and maybe only chance to get away with using comic sans as a graphic designer. Since comics sans represents comic book type so well I decided to use the monster known as "The Joker." I also thought I'd share my "R2D2" design.
Please explain what we are seeing in your pieces and (MEDIA USED, TECHNOLOGY, OR SOFTWARE USED) how you went about creating them.
This was all done in Adobe Illustrator. Every black line or curve is from the typeface comic sans. I stretched, bent, and twisted letters all around.
How can people find out more about you and your artwork?
My website will be completed soon at charlescooley.co
