The Art Institute of Charlotte Hosts 2015 Congressional Art Competition Reception

WHO/WHAT: 

The Art Institute of Charlotte, a campus of South University will host a reception for the 2015 Congressional Art Competition, sponsored by Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09). The competition was open to high school students in Congressman Pittenger’s district, and the winner will be announced at the reception. The first place winner will have his/her artwork displayed in a corridor at the U. S. Capitol for one year.  The other five finalists will have their artwork displayed in Congressman Pittenger’s Charlotte and Mooresville offices. The second and third place finalists will receive complimentary admission to The Art Institute of Charlotte’s Summer Studio.
