(CHICAGO, IL March 2015) - The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago faculty member Alex Damarjian's company, Little Genius Games, recently entered into a partnership agreement to bring "Leo vs. The Robot Uprising" to the Sony Vita handheld console and the PSN network. Little Genius Games is a digital interactive game developer dedicated to creating positive, challenging, educational, experiences. "We strongly believe in personal growth and accomplishment through the practice of entertaining game-play," said Damarjian. Little Genius Games has worked with the creative minds at That Game Company, Team Ico, and Double Fine Productions. “Leo vs. The Robot Uprising” aims to be fun and engaging, but also provides a deeper interactive educational experience.
“Leo vs. The Robot Uprising” is a fantasy-adventure game about a boy named Leo and his quest to save his parents after their capture by the robots of Genius City. Loosely based on Founder Alex Damarjian's childhood, the game is an exciting and engaging experience that will captivate the player with its use of both familiar and novel brain training, board, and puzzle mechanics. Utilizing many cutting edge cognitive training techniques, the game is designed to enhance the player’s calculation, reflex, judgment, and memory. As the player develops and grows in his/her skills and progresses through the game, Leo dives deeper into a fantasy world of imaginary scenarios, unique characters, and remarkable stories to further captivate and attract the player in a series of levels designed around game-based learning.
