Dallas Alum Moore Talks Spring Fashion

Reneka Moore, who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Dallas in 2012, has three style tips for Spring: choose lighter layering pieces, roll up your denim, and showcase your peep toe boots. Moore is the creative director/designer/stylist of Opulent Manner, a clothing brand that Moore describes as “help[ing] women and men reach their highest self through style and dress.”

Moore recently chatted with KADN TV in Layfayette, LA about how to transition from cold weather fashion to warmer-season looks. In the interview, Moore mentions that her favorite color trends for 2022 are sky blue, soft lilac, canary yellow, scarlet, salted caramel, hot pink, and neon green.

The article notes that Moore’s recommendations contain some bold colors, and suggests “[choosing] to color block or add textures to your look. If you are more of a minimalist, add a pop of color with accessories or choose a color and go monochromatic which elongates you and gives a crisp look.”
