The Art Institute of Colorado Design Club collaborates with local colleges, high schools, and Boys and Girls Club for their Annual Snowboard Design Competition.

The Ai Colorado Design Club recently wrapped their 2016/2017 Snowboard Design Competition. This year the competition brought together design students from ten colleges and high schools throughout Colorado, as well as children from the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver who participated in their own Helmet Design Competition. There were 75 total individual submissions.
An Awards Ceremony was held on February 17th at the VFW Post 1 Gallery in the Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District. Two hundred thirty-eight guests attended the venue. The Ai Colorado Audio Club provided music, the Ai Colorado Great Chefs Club provided food, and Ai Colorado student Kelly Hill provided event photography. Sponsors made the whole event possible: special thanks to AIGA, The Art Director’s Club of Denver, NeverSummer, ABL Lifestyles, 7Twenty,Outabounds Ski, Nowhere Land, Boys & Girls Club, the VFW Post 1 Gallery, & Dust City Designs.
