Students and Alumni showcase their design for PUMA at GlobalShop 2017
April 5, 2017
Students and Alumni from The Art Institute of Colorado just returned from the Globalshop 2017 Convention in Las Vegas where they installed and showcased their project for Puma. The Art Institute of Colorado team made up of Zach Koelzer, Andon Malone, Derek Dozbaba, Nick Resch, and Courtney Auringer were chosen as one of the winners of the PAVE Globalshop Design Challenge. As one of the winning teams they got to see their design—an innovative, interactive retail space for Puma—come to life with the help of Tebo Fixtures.
Chris Chen Mahoney, Design Program Chair at The Art Institute of Colorado—“It was absolutely wonderful to have a true cross-departmental collaboration on this year long project. Our team of five students came from four different disciplines and they built upon each other’s strengths. I feel so lucky to have spent the last 3 days with those students, observing their talent and commitment, and celebrating what they have accomplished.”
After the show Puma will take the display back to their headquarters and explore the possibility of building it in a store. So keep your eyes open for the design in a store near you!
