(FORT LAUDERDALE, FL January 2016) – During the winter quarter, students at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale will develop multiple collateral pieces for the Florida Turkish American Association (FTAA).  The FTAA has been around for more than 40 years and it is the largest and oldest Turkish American cultural organization in Florida.  The organization is one of the largest and most culturally active organizations within the United States.  The group features a very large dedicated group of volunteers who work in organizing a festival every year.  This year, the festival will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Young Circle in Hollywood, Florida.

Students will design the event’s poster, along with a save the date card and a brochure.  The poster has been the best advertising tool for the event, and is hung in many Turkish American businesses and community centers. It is also e-mailed to sponsors, advertisers and friends, with a digital copy is uploaded to their website.
