Another nod to The Art Institute of Houston's student, Dominick Lee

Chef Dom, as he is affectionately called, made the front page of the flavor section of the Houston Chronicle. Written by Allison Cook—a two-time James Beard Award winner for restaurant criticism and an M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing award recipient—the rave review cites the partnership between Verma Kiran and Dominick as having “brought new polish, soul and humor to the Indian fine-dining repertoire that Verma established at the original Kiran's Highland Village location.”
Lee is the recipient of the Underbelly Scholarship, awarded by Chef Chris Shepherd, 1996 Associate of Applied Science Culinary Arts and 2014 James Beard Award Winner, and most recently has been awarded the Les Amis d’Escoffier Society Scholarship by Chef Charles Clark, 1996 Associate of Applied Science Culinary Arts.
Congratulations, Chef Dom!
