Ai Houston's Alexis Breeze Will Teach for America in 2019

Alexis Breeze, who is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management at The Art Institute of Houston, was accepted into the “Teach for America 2019 Corps.” She’ll begin working in Phoenix, Arizona in May 2019.

According to the Teach for America website,  https://www.teachforamerica.org/, the organization works to provide an equitable and excellent education for all children. The organization adds that getting to a point of providing that education will require leadership at every level, working together inside and outside of education, in pursuit of enduring change.
