You might remember Dominick as the winner of Chef Chris Shepherd’s, Culinary Arts, AAS, 1996, Underbelly scholarship, or as the former executive sous chef of Kiran’s Restaurant. But now, he adds a new title to his resume—executive chef at the soon to be opened Poitin (pronounced "put-cheen").

Lee will join owner, Ian Tucker, and general manager, Todd Leveritt, to open the new hot spot in the spring/summer of 2018.

Chef Dom adds, “Without the support and connections I’ve made through The Art Institute of Houston, I could have never fathomed embarking on this journey and I am truly appreciative. This is the next step in my career as a chef and I can’t wait to present what I’ve learned in my own way.”

Dominick Lee is set to graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts later this year.

Congratulations Chef Dom!
