Houston Student Takes 1st Place in Fashion My Future Career Conference

Kim Nguyen, who is working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of Houston, recently placed first out of 17 competitors in the Fashion My Future Conference. She earned a $1,000 scholarship and $100 gift card to High Fashion Fabrics.
Two other students working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Sanaz Ekhlassi and Wilbert Brinkley, participated in the event. Fashion instructors Jane Hall and Marina Saba participated in the workshops as panel speakers.
The Fashion My Future Foundation of Houston, Inc. was founded in 2014 by Gloria Pearson to carrying on the grand tradition that was begun nearly 30 years ago by The Fashion Group International Inc. of Houston.
