The Art Institute of Houston Participates in the International Risotto Festival

(Houston, October 2015) On November 8, 2015, The Art Institute of Houston is participating in the 11th International Risotto Festival.  The campus will have one chef instructor and four students creating a unique recipe for tasting at the Risotto Festival.  In all there will be 18 chefs competing.  

Fashion students are also designing Barbie clothing to be put on Barbie dolls that will be auctioned off during the event’s auction.

The campus will have approximately 20 faculty and staff volunteers and approximately 25 student volunteers, representing the Interior Design, Photography, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Culinary Arts and Fashion Design.

The event benefits The Scarlett Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
