Nhi (Nancy) Nguyen, who is pursuing at Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design at The Art Institute of Houston, was recently interviewed by Sarah Rufca at “Houstonia Magazine.”

The piece, titled “Houston’s Nhi Nguyen Envisions the Future of Fashion,” discusses Nhi’s inspiration and experience as she premiered her Fall/Winter 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week, where she made a splash with her futuristic designs.

Nhi grew up in Vietnam, watching her mother, a seamstress, turn patterns into beautiful dresses. At the age of 17, she left her family and friends and came to America to study fashion.
