What was the inspiration for your FUN RUN artwork?

I created this design for my Intro to Layout Design class for Mr. Zwicky. The assignment was to design a logo for the Houston Bar Association, for their annual event called "32nd John J. Eikenberg FUN RUN" at Sam Houston Park. The assignment was a contest among the students in the class to design a winning logo that would be used for the event.

How did you create these pieces?

I created the design using Adobe Illustrator. Process sketches were first formulated before starting work on the final concept in digital format.
