Reema Farra is working as an interior designer at McCoy Inc. in Houston, overseeing projects, meeting with salespeople and clients, space planning, and designing interior office spaces. She also creates presentations and checks specs prior to order. When her day ends at McCoy, she begins her self-employed work at Darke Media Group where she creates interactive books. She is responsible for all aspects of the books, including writing, editing, creating interactive features, graphics, branding, and marketing.
Reema is proud to have won First Place at CET Configura’s national conference in the category of Best Success Story. She is also excited to own her own company and to have published two books, Phantom Hearts Part 1 & 2. “As a designer, I’m always starting with a blank page or blank room. I love seeing my ideas come to life, whether it’s an installation or a printed book. The joy of havinga beautiful product and seeing others enjoy your work is priceless,” she says.
