The Art Institute of Indianapolis Welcomes Jason Lafferty as its New Chef Director

The Art Institute of Indianapolis is pleased to announce that Jason Lafferty will serve as its new chef director.
Jason Lafferty brings expertise not only in the culinary industry where he’s worked with eight James Beard Award winners, but also as an educator. He began his academic career as an Instructor within the culinary field, later becoming a Chef director at Virginia College Culinard. His experience as chef director has provided a fundamental understanding of what it takes for success in today’s culinary industry.
“I am very excited to join The Art Institute of Indianapolis. I especially look forward to working with the students in their educational pursuits in the culinary industry,” said Lafferty.
Lafferty holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University and a Master of Hospitality Management from Florida International University.
