Recently, culinary students from The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University took part in the 2018 LA Times Food Bowl. The event features Los Angeles’ best chefs, hotels, markets, and restaurants.

The students were accompanied by their Chef instructor Lee Van On. They worked on events with local and international celebrity chefs—including Chef Yu Bo, a Michelin Starred Chef from China. He guided students as they created a five-course dinner.

Other prominent culinary artists at the event were Jose Andres, Narisawa Satoyama, and Virgilio Martinez.

The Food Bowl raises awareness and funds to fight food waste, hunger, and food insecurity. It also promotes sustainability.
