As the first anniversary of the terror attacks in San Bernardino, California approaches, The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University will reflect with the community during a night of remembrance on December 2, 2016.

Promotional materials to build awareness for the Night of Remembrance were created by design students from the school. The students presented options that were then chosen by the “12/2 Committee” to represent the evening’s events.

Additionally, there be a bike ride to raise funds for the 14 victims who lost their lives and the 22 others who were injured on that day. The funds are being collected by The United Way. Staff from The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire will ride 14 miles in remembrance of those who lost their lives.

Juan Garcia-Ruiz, who in 2012 earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, created the #SBStrong Logo that will also be used this day.

The Inland Regional Center Building where the mass shooting took place is less than 2 miles from the school’s campus and can be seen from the back lot of the campus. The School went on complete lockdown that day as the events took place in the surrounding area.
