The Art Institute of California – Inland Empire Culinary Students Memorial Day Recipes Featured in Press-Enterprise

(Inland Empire, May 2015) The Press-Enterprise, a leading provider of news for Inland Southern California, recently held a contest for the best Memorial Day recipes. Vanessa Franko, food editor, loved the recipes from Nakesha Seaton and Caesar Morales, culinary students at The Art Institute of California – Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University. Ms. Franko was impressed with their culinary skills and featured their recipes in the Life Section of The Press-Enterprise on Wednesday, May 20.
Caesar Morales, a student in the Bachelor of Science, Culinary Management Program , shared a recipe that he first made while serving in Afghanistan. It reminded him of Memorial Day and the men and women he served with because it was always a favorite amongst the service members.
Nakesha Seaton, a student in the Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Food & Beverage Program, crafted a recipe for berry yogurt soup as a refreshing note at a Memorial Day cookout. As a culinary student who also has a full-time job as a marketing coordinator, she likes the quick and easy dish to take to a function.
