Event: Workshop and Lecture with Mr. Ron Husband

Mr. Ron Husband is a 38 year veteran at Disney Feature Animation. Ron holds the distinction of being the first African American Supervising Animator at Walt Disney Studios. He is also an illustrator of many children’s books and recently authored his own book about drawing titled “Quick Sketching” which was published on Focal Press.
Ron’s Film Credits Include
The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia 2000, Pocahontas, The Rescuers Down Under, The Fox and the Hound, Atlantis, Treasure Planet and several more.
The four hour workshop and lecture will focus on Story Telling Drawings, how to generate images that tell stories, and drawing with a purpose. It is open to all programs so please share with your respective students and friends. Please RSVP early in order to save your space.
