The Art Institutes provide accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. The Office of Disability Support Services assists all qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and in supporting equal access to services, programs and activities at The Art Institutes.
Students who seek reasonable accommodations should notify the Office of Disability Support Services at 1-855-855-0567 or via email at _TheCenterDSS@dcedh.org of their specific limitations and, if known, their specific requested accommodations. Students will be asked to supply medical documentation of the need for accommodation. Classroom accommodations are not retroactive, but are effective only upon the student sharing approved accommodations with the instructor. Therefore, students are encouraged to request accommodations as early as feasible with The Office of Disability Support Services to allow for time to gather necessary documentation. If you have a concern or complaint in this regard, please contact the Office of Student Conduct and Resolution at firstname.lastname@example.org. Complaints will be handled in accordance with the school’s Internal Grievance Procedure for Complaints of Discrimination and Harassment.
All students in their 1st - 3rd quarters have a designated peer mentor. They a variety of assistance to students throughout their first year of school.
Peer tutors are available Monday through Friday and by appointment. The tutoring center is located in the Main Building, Room 105.
The Student Services Department assists students with resumes, cover letters, and interview skills for both on- and off-campus part-time job leads. A quarterly job fair is also provided.
Student Assistance Program
Students can contact Talk One-to-One at 888-617-3362 for free counseling 24/7. Students can also register to receive 4 free sessions of face-to-face counseling.
Student Support Services
Provides student information on low-cost childcare, mental health support, veteran resources, food banks, and affordable housing.
