Student Wins Award for Best Safety Message

Ashlee Davis, a student in the Bachelor of Arts in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production degree program at The Art Institutes International – Kansas City, won Best Safety Message in the KCP&L Safe Video Contest. KCP&L electric company asked customers to create 30 second videos spreading the word on safety for its second annual  Be Safe Video Contest. The videos were directed toward a younger demographic with a family friendly attitude. The awards offered were for People's Choice (the most votes on Facebook), Grand Prize Winner, Best Safety

Message, Most Adorable, and Most Creative. KCP&L invited customers to help pick the winners by voting for their favorites on Facebook.
